Exceeded my expectations - safe, friendly staff, huge rooms, very comfortable bed - and all so quiet

Pros: A quiet oasis in a sea of noisy and crowded streets. Great quality glass in the windows meant I heard nothing; but it all looked chaotic outside. Depending on the room there is a very impressive view of Mount Meru. Deathly quiet rooms and corridors all night, and solid walls between rooms. Great WIFI and superb bed linen. Very comfortable bed in a huge room. Tea, coffee, kettle and plenty of bottled water in the room. It was no problem to request a (good) packed breakfast to go at 5am. Very friendly and helpful reception and porter staff. Easy to locate for a drop off or pick up.

Cons: Odd layout bathroom but perfectly clean and modern. On site restaurant with limited menu but open all day. Not a problem for me, but no alcohol is allowed anywhere within the hotel or rooms.

Pros: Great bed. Roomservice was tasty. Good breakfast. Nice staff.

Cons: Not what a 5 star hotel is in other countries. Dry hotel.

Highly recommend base for Safaris etc

Pros: Excellent 24/7 restaurant (especially Spaghetti) and big room with good bed. Staff was professional, kind and very helpfull.

Cons: Some problem with key card, but it was fixed.

Very good hotel but has bad restaurant.

Pros: We liked the location. Big rooms and comfortable bed. Extra amenities like clean toothbrush and toothpaste were welcomed and noted.

Cons: We didn’t like that the restaurant had only 5 dishes out of 20 in the menu. One fried chicken came uncooked.

Pros: Very friendly staff, they even upgraded our room for free. Location is in a centre, so be cautious about locals around (generally safe, but could be a bit uncomfortable walking outside, for us it was okay though during the day). Property is a bit outdated, but for the money it’s very good, especially if it’s a short stay.

An extremely good hotel

Pros: The Seven Skies is a super hotel. The staff very friendly and extremely helpful. When we had to leave for our safari they made my wife and I two huge breakfast boxes. They also safely looked after our two large bags whilst we were away. The hotel is very close to the bus stand and bustling markets. The rooms are large with air conditioning and included a kitchen with sink and a fridge. The room was very clean and made up each day. The bathroom was a good size with a proper shower cubical with plenty of hot water. A good breakfast provided and the waiting staff were very helpful. The restaurant is open 24/7 and has a good varied menu. My wife and I could find no fault and spent four nights at the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Central Location

Pros: Central location. Very clean and staff extremely helpful. Breakfast OK. Huge room!

Cons: Shower head needed sorting out. WiFi in our room didn’t work near the bed! Can be noisy in the evening because of location, but didn’t bother us.
