A Relaxing Oasis After A Long Day of Travel

Pros: McElly's is a lovely hotel located in downtown Arusha within walking distance from the Central Bus Terminal. My one night stay there was very relaxing after a long trip. The bed was very comfortable and the fourth floor room nice and spacious. Juliet (I think that was her name), the receptionist, was friendly and efficient at getting me checked in quickly and without a problem. I had my lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant and was very pleased with my chicken sandwich and vegetable curry. Overall, I was very happy with my experience at McElly's Hotel and would definitely return again.

Great place to stay in the centre of Arusha

Pros: Very comfortable and well appointed rooms in a great location. All staff were professional and friendly - the food and drinks in the restaurant were reasonably priced and enjoyable, and a good breakfast selection.

Nice and value for money.

Pros: Lovely and efficient staff. Good food in the restaurant and value for money. We used their laundry facility and they booked our taxis.

Cons: Our room was a bit noisy .

Pros: We stayed at Mc Ellys before and after our safari and were very happy with the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and super helpful. One night, we didn’t have hot water, called the reception and they fixed it within 5 minutes. We had a nice room with a balcony towards Mt Meru.

Pros: The taxi driver was already waiting at the airport. Everything was running smooth and arranged well.

Pros: Perfect place for a short, budget stay. We spent one night there. The room was very clean, but the shower water was boiling hot and uncontrollable. The breakfast was simple but fantastic, though! The best we had during our entire stay in Arusha.

Pros: Good location in town so it’s easy to get to places. Good breakfast and the room was comfortable enough.

Pros: Great location, right in centre and walk to many attractions. Good coffee and eating places close by. Nothing too fancy but very nice bed, its clean, safe and super friendly. Brought kettle to the room for tea and coffee. Great value for money.

Cons: Nothing that worried me, there is some street noise very early in the evening, your in the middle of a city, it dies down by about 8.30/9.00
