Great option if you are between flights.

Pros: Very friendly staff. Convenient location and free airport shuttle. Spa AMAZING! Had the best massage there! Spacious and clean room.

Cons: Service a little slow. Pool is big, but seen better days.

Convenient airport lodge with great staff and pool

Pros: Lovely friendly staff, great airport shuttle to Kilimanjaro airport , very nice pool, beautiful relaxing grounds. Nice spacious accommodation with comfy bed and good shower!

Cons: I really think it’s very expensive, both to stay and for food. However it’s worth it for the convenience to JRO airport.

Excellent Stay Near Kilimanjaro International Airport

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Planet Airport Lodge. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and perfect for our needs after a long journey. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a convenient and relaxing place near Kilimanjaro International Airport, I highly recommend Planet Airport Lodge. We were very happy with our experience and would gladly stay again!

Great stay extremely close to the airport, very convenient if you have an early flight

Pros: The hotel is extremely close to the airport, we had a 5am flight so very convenient and they offer free shuttle or you can pay for private shuttle (but honestly the free shuttle was good). They offer free breakfast. We had some issues with leaking AC in the room, when alerted the staff changed our room immediately! So also super attentive and professional staff. The rooms are clean and large.

Cons: The wifi really does not work well.

Loved This Hotel

Pros: It's an absolutely fantastic hotel. I was disappointed I only got to stay for one night pre flight back home.. A gated complex, set in lush green gardens with extra large bungalow accommodation dotted around the complex. Large pool and sunbed facilities, which looked so inviting, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to use. A great spa and Zam Zam and Hilda were exceptional. Much needed after a week in the Serengeti. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. With welcome drinks as soon as we arrive. Great dining facilities, including an excellent breakfast selection. Complimentary airport service, which took about 10 mins to Kilamanjaro airport. I would highly recommend it. A great find on booking.com.
