Outpost Lodge

An excellent place to stay for a few days in Arusha.

Pros: The room was very comfortable with all the facilities we expected. The food was excellent and plentiful. The staff were always attentive and helpful. The environment of the place was really nice, with plenty of native plants and trees so it felt like we were living in the bush but with all the comfort we needed.

Cons: Apart from the rain and some biting insects which are, of course, not the fault of the Lodge, I don't think there were any negative aspects at all.

Pros: Feels like home after visiting so many times and being welcomed like a friend

Cons: More variety in breakfast would ne nice if you are a regular visitor

Pros: Breakfast was filling with multiple options. Friendly efficient staff. Wifi in the restaurant is fast and reliable.

Cons: Wifi in the room was slow and intermittent.

Pros: Great value for money, clean room, lovely staff, restaurant onsite with yummy food, walkable to town. Everything you need for a short stay in Arusha

Pros: Outpost isn’t a high end hotel but it has everything you need and it does the job. Decent breakfast and the staff were really helpful when I needed to check in early and helped organise a taxi to the airport for me in the early hours with a takeaway breakfast

Cons: It’s near a noisy ish road so be prepared to hear a few cars and motorcycles throughout the day.

Cons: They gave us a handicap room so the sink was at knee level. Shower didn’t work properly.

classic resort, takes you back in time as it was hospitality experienced during the 80s -90s

Pros: the location, the staff, the gardens, the atmosphere

Cons: it’s good but rooms are worn off and in need of update, mainly of its equipment (beds, windows, mosquito nets (they don’t work), bathrooms furniture, accessories etc) without loosing its character.

Pros: Vi really enjoyed hanging around by the pool and taking a swim every day. I would recommend the place especially to families with kids. Great personall and good food. Close to the city centre.

Cons: The facility is situated just over a wall by a trafficated road with some noice and air pollution.

Hotel was quiet and leafy with the fun addition of monkeys swinging in the tress. Staff are friendly and the food is goo
