Over night stays (2) either end of a safari. Close to Arusha.

Pros: Food options for breakfast were limited, but what was offered was good. Bar top roof was great. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons: A little noisey at night as was situated between two lumber yards that worked late. Needs a sign on the road entrance and main gate. (Our drivers had trouble locating it).

Pros: Rooftopbar, swimmingpool, big rooms, nice personel

Would definitely recommend this hostel 🙂

Pros: One of my favourite hostels I’ve stayed In, breakfast is nice every morning, comfortable bed, pool, friendly guests & staff.

Pros: We loved the place. There are many sitting areas, so you won’t notice if there are many guests, you can still have some privacy and chill. Abdul welcomed us so nicely, he showed us all the accessible areas and made us feel welcomed. We loved the details in decor, the african print all over, the pictures and slogans hanging on the walls. The place was clean, the room had all necessary items. There are also books you can read.

Cons: Unfortunately, for breakfast we didn’t get what was written on the menu. Also dinner was changed (not what was written on the menu), so we went out to get something else.

Perfect vote-safari stay

Pros: Abdul, the host, was an endless source of information and tips on our one night stay before safari. He suggested Bolt (Ubers) taxis into Arusha, where to eat, SIM cards etc. nice vibe with other travellers or volunteers. Definitely recommend.

Cons: It was a little far from the centre if Arusha. Nothing a $5 taxi couldn’t sort out

Good hostel

Pros: The facilities were good and clean! Mostly everything went smoothly, but we couldn't pay for food or drinks with a card, even tho promised so in the beginning.

Cons: We were surprised by the fact that it was a hostel (restaurant only serving one food for dinner, had to wash your own dishes etc). It was okay, but maybe it should be mentioned more clearly in the description

Awesome place, home away from home.

Pros: This place a home away from home. If you don't want that hotel vibes, this is it. Loved the stay and would make the place my other home while in Arusha.

Cons: Think the instant shower can be a good investment

We truly enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home!

Pros: We really enjoyed the pool, it's perfect for children since it's not deep. We also liked the room, the beds and the spacious bathroom. We also enjoyed the lovely art everywhere in the common spaces (which were also really spacious) and we had lots of fun at the rooftop bar with pool table, darts and great staff and atmosphere. We loved that they organised a movie night, despite the low number of people in the hostel.

Cons: The shower itself was amazing but ran out of hot water very fast. This was not a big deal to us, as we weren't staying for many days. Breakfast was very basic, which was ok, but then the kitchen staff could have been a bit more welcoming. Besides breakfast we did not make use of the restaurant.

Great time in Arusha!

Pros: I initially planned to stay here for 3 nights after climbing the kilimanjaro in order to recover and getting to explore arusha before going on to a Safari. Fully unexpectedly, I found and very open and welcoming group consisting of other travelers, long-term guests and hostel personnel that made my stay so great that in fact decided to stay two more nights after the safari. Either during dinner, in front of the pool, or the rooftop, is was very easy to get in touch with others and interact, share a drink and many stories and jokes. Whenever I return to Arusha, I’ll certainly stay here again!

A good place to stay in Arusha for medium - long term

Pros: The place was clean, the people was really nice, we felt welcome the second we arrived.
