A good relax place to stay after the safari

Pros: It’s a quiet apartment with several bedrooms. We just lived in one of the rooms. As there was no other client, we felt quite comfortable using its spacious kitchen, washing machine , big dining table , spacious living room just like at home. It has beautiful garden and backyard. The host is nice and friendly. He drove his car and sent us to airport at reasonable price.

Cons: It’s a bit difficult to find its place. Have to pay some money for using its washing machine

Lovely, quiet homestay just outside Arusha city centre!

Pros: Beautiful home with nice kitchen, living space, laundry and garden. The location is quiet and peaceful, and surrounding streets have a nice local (not touristy) atmosphere. There are supermarkets, small food vendors, and an ATM (15000 withdrawal fee) close by on the main street. We were the only ones staying at the time so the place is quiet. The property manager is very quiet, respectful and helpful. Easy to book and pay in person with cash. The private bedroom has a fan and private bathroom. Washing/laundry is available for an extra fee. The whole house is very clean and comfortable!

Cons: It is not super clear from the listing but the host lives in and shares the space as well. This feels like more of a homestay than a commercial backpackers/hotel. A little difficult to find as there is no sign outside the property. Contact via WhatsApp for location pin. It is not super close to the city centre if that is what you want - but it’s easy to take a tuk-tuk. There was some minor confusion about the timing of our booking - but it was cleared up. The website manager and the property manager are different people. It might be a good idea to double check your booking dates are confirmed via WhatsApp before you arrive.

Pros: The host pick us up. The host teach me how to make ugali, He took me to places, of my interest. He was very friendly.

Lovely place

Pros: I enjoyed the stay, the satff were friendly and profesional. The facility gives a comfortable homely feel, also the location is convenient which makes it easy to move around. Would definately recoment 100%

Pros: The hostel was super chill, had comfy beds, clean.. and the staff were absolutely great, so helpful. Great value for the price, would definitely recommend!

Great choice for your stay in Arusha

Pros: I stayed here for two nights while travelling solo in Tanzania and felt super safe and comfortable the whole time. You can tell right away that this is a very new hostel – everything is freshly renovated, clean, and not worn out at all, which makes it easy to feel at home. The location is great too: not far from the main road, so it’s quick and easy to get around with boda-bodas, the local motorbike taxis, or tuk tuks. Communication with the team was smooth and uncomplicated, and everything worked out perfectly. I would definitely come back and can highly recommend this place to other travellers!

Cons: Nothing to complain. Since the hostel seems so new it wasn’t busy yet but I imagine it to get very cozy and familiar with more people around very soon!
