Dual Mountain View Lodge

Pros: The experience at Dual Mountain Lodge was excellent. The lodge is clean, the furniture functional, the rooms have air conditioning and views of Kilimanjaro. The restaurant serves excellent meals, really tasty, freshly prepared. The staff were very professional and friendly and catered for my needs. I would highly recommend it!

Great stay in Moshi!

Pros: The view of Mt Kilimanjaro in the morning, the welcoming staff esp' Baraka. The tranquil environment, the pool and the garden. The food being self service and plenty in portion. A very lovely stay in Moshi.. Definitely my stay now in Moshi

Cons: The road section to the property's gate (about 300 mtrs) is a bit slippery when it has rained and cars with low clearance might skid slightly. But in case you get stuck you can call the hotel to come and rescue you. It's adventurous. Not so bad.

Pros: This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location is a little outside of town in a quiet, green and calming location. The staff were friendly and it had a quiet and calming atmosphere. Our family including 2 young children had a great time. The pool was clean and the upstairs restaurant area was a great space to relax and enjoy our time together The restaurant and bar had enough choices and the breakfast was great.

Cons: Nothing.

Great hotel, off the beaten path. I will come prepared with my own bottle of wine next time. ;-)

Pros: The hotel is a very good standard for Tanzania and East Africa. Very clean, well configured, with good fixtures and fittings etc. The owner has not scrimped and saved and has made sure that guests are comfortable with hot water and good showers etc. The hotel bar

Cons: The price of the restaurant and bar was pretty outrageous in my opinion, although I am a Tanzanian resident who knows how much everything should cost and who is only used to paying in Shillings. $40 for a meal which you could've got in town for 10, $45 for a bottle of wine which you know is only $12 in the supermarket. I guess this is how most restaurants make most of their money...

Pros: The hotel is really nice, located among a coffee plantation surrounded by trees and green areas, it is a very peaceful place to spend a couple days. The swimming pool is also really nice with beds though we could not swim because it was raining too much. The rooms are very clean and the bed was so large and comfy! The restaurant is on the rooftop with an amazing view over coffee plantation. The staff arranged a shuttle for us from the airport which was very convenient. I would add that the staff was really kind as they let us have a late checkout. I really appreciated this place and will recommend it.

Great option at the base of Kilimanjaro

Pros: Great place in a beautiful environment. Barak and Haika went above and beyond to help us and they organised a trip to the Materuni Waterfalls and the coffe plantation. A trip not to miss if you happen here! The lunch at the coffee plantation was also great. They were so kind to organise breakfast for us even when we had to leave earlier on the last day. Food is great and cooked by the chef!

Unexpected luxury in the Kilimanjaro forest.

Pros: Children liked the pool, the comfortable rooms and the breakfast. Place is inside a coffee farm, 700m from the tar road. The road is very good from Moshi all the way to Mweka Gate. Made it to Mweka Gate in an old RAV4.

Cons: Supper portion size too big and beef soup a bit salty. Food was good though.

Good stay

Pros: Staff very nice and helpful, always in a good attitude Clean & comfy

Cons: Laundry was a bit expensive, we paid €80 for a group of 5s washing Hard to get to location - but anywhere up this high will be the same. Do not take the first turnoff Google suggests, stay on the main road as long as possible

Pros: Superb location with view of Kilimanjaro mountain and good food. Great value for money

Cons: That I had to leave after only four days, but I will be back
