Pros: Thank you to everyone for making our stay at Ameg Lodge quite exceptional. Beautiful hotel, peaceful, well organised, excellent staff and service. The food in the restaurant was really good - well presented and freshly prepared meals with a great choice at the buffet breakfast in the morning. The pool was amazing, clean and inviting - plenty of shady sunbeds and very attentive poolside staff. Our room was air conditioned and had a mosquito net. Clean, and plenty of hot water. Great service on cleaning and restocking with water every day. Reception staff, Diana in particular, helped to sort out some extras I needed on my booking and organise an airport transfer and trip into town. All in all, it was great value for money, and a really pleasant place to stay. I started my stay as a single female solo traveler, waiting for my husband to come down from Kilimanjaro, and felt very safe and well looked after. Well done to all the Staff at Ameg. Excellent job. Highly recommended.

This is my 1st stay with Ameg Lodge but I have visited the pool and gym before. I would recommend definitely.

Pros: We loved the staff’s hospitality and excellent service, as well as the peaceful atmosphere of the place. It’s an ideal spot for reflection and planning ahead. The facilities were very clean, beautifully designed, and managed with great attention to detail. We also really enjoyed the pool and the breakfast — both were top-notch. . We felt truly welcomed and were even kindly upgraded to a suite. I visited Ameg Lodge five years ago and returned this time with my wife, and it fully met (and exceeded) my expectations once again. I also appreciated the new developments that will be ready in the coming months.

Cons: Honestly, nothing — if I had more time, I would have definitely extended my stay by another night

Pros: A beautiful hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly, kind, and helpful, but never intrusive. The food is very good and well prepared. The hotel itself is stunning, and it’s a perfect place to relax — whether by the pool or inside the hotel. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful sanctuary, excellent facilities, and phenomenal staff.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful sanctuary with good facilities and amenities. Phenomenal staff who are friendly, discreet, check in with you but manage to do it without encroaching in your space.

Cons: It’s not a dislike per se but I would have appreciated a small refrigerator.

Pros: Everything works. It's clean. Comfortable beds. No disturbing noises, as the wall separates the gardens from the road, and there are no noisy bars in this part of the Shanty town. Wonderfully beautiful gardens and atmospheric lights at night. Friendly and attentive professional staff.
