Pleasant

Pros: Quiet and pleasant place, very local, almost a homestay more than a hotel. Location is very good: nice and safe area, walk 5 min to the road and get a local bus downtown to Arusha. Also very convenient for the JRO airport.

Our stay at Nguruma was enjoyable and worthwhile.

Pros: The breakfast and dinner meals cooked by Mary were excellent. She made an effort to introduce us to many local dishes and tried to make the meals as varied as possible. She was a very kind hostess. We also visited many places with Daniel, who showed us lake Duluti and the Cultural Heritage Center and Maasai market in Arusha. He also took us on a great safari in Tarangire National Park where we saw elephants, giraffes and many baobab trees.

Cons: Aside from a few internet and power issues, everything was very good.
