Mambo Arusha Hostel

Highly recommend

Pros: The house is super comfortable, and the shower is lovely. Hot water, good pressure and easy to set the temp. But the greatest about the hostel is Nam. She’s so helpful makes you feel at home right away. Even tho we were two of the few guests it never felt boring to stay here. And she is an amazing cook to. Also the WiFi works really well if that’s important to you. On top of that it’s a more quiet neighborhood with a very lovely vibe.

Pros: Nam took great care of me. I was the only guest at the hostel but didn’t feel lonely at all. Definitely recommend staying at Mambo Arusha Hostel.

Pros: Reallu friendly staff and nice rooms! The food was good as well

Cons: Google Maps sends you an awful way! Stay on the main road and don’t take the side streets! They got confused so we ended up staying in Mambo Hideaway instead

Pros: Everything was nice and clean, breakfast was super delicious, they even made a little breakfast for me when I had to leave before breakfast time. The host was very kind!

Pros: The garden and the quiet surroundings away from the city and Jonsnow the big dog :)

Cons: I wish the chairs outside the rooms on terrace would be more comfortable

Pros: The woman who hosted us was very friendly. We arrived a bit late, and the next day we had to leave earlier than breakfast started because our safari itinerary was changed on short notice, but she boiled some eggs late at night to put on the table for the next morning with some bread, jam, and hot water for coffee/tea, so we could have a snack before leaving. Also cute place, clean, and generally functioning. And great for that price.

Lovely quaint hostel with nice homemade breakfast.

Pros: The living room is nicely designed and owner made a lovely homemade breakfast in the morning. Clean double bed room with mosquito nets and wardrobe with mirror. Clean and spacious bathroom. The shower was hot with pressure. I did start the time of arrival so owner was able to ensure shower would be hot. There is a bar outside and secure parking.

Cons: Sharp left turn onto lane of property if you are driving.

Pros: My stay here was wonderful. Nam, one of the staff members, was very kind and accommodating. She adjusted the breakfast time to match my schedule, and provided options for lunch and laundry. I stayed for three nights and four days, and felt very relaxed, just like being at home.

Pros: My sister and I stayed for two nights and we enjoyed how peaceful the place was. It's clean, comfy beds and most especially the breakfast was amazing. Thankyou so much Nahm for your kindness😊 Whenever you are in Arusha, then Mambo Arusha is the place to go.

Pros: Really really nice stay in Arusha, very chill area, extremely welcoming host, and great guide for the day with - cherry on the top - an incredibly cool sunset spot with a view on Mount meru!
