Pros: Banana Farm was an incredible experience, even though we only stayed for one night—we wished we could have stayed forever. The location is stunning, beautifully designed, and meticulously cared for in every detail. Chef Tomas and his team delighted us with excellent dishes—everything was perfect. The experience is fully immersed in nature, with little monkeys on the roof and the peaceful calm of the savannah all around. Truly unforgettable!

Amazing staff, great food and banana.

Pros: The staff were amazing and really made you feel like home. As a couple travelling we had lots of questions and they were read and able to help and direct us! The location was very relaxing and the food was an amazing! They were able to help us with airport transfers even through we had an early morning flight!

Sweet, great price

Pros: Beautiful banana farm and I loved that you could help yourself to bananas every day! The chef was very friendly and helpful too.

Cons: We didn’t feel that the staff around were as helpful as the chef even we asked them advice of what to do in the local area. But overall great stay for the price.

A lovely place but check excursion details before deciding how long to stay

Pros: This is a lovely place In many ways. Various types of accommodation include spacious, comfortable cabins surrounded by lush vegetation with large birds swooping around and monkeys playing on the buildings . The morning nature walk led by the knowledgeable Victor was just fantastic, he showed us not only medicinal plants but included ones that could be used for sandpaper /nail files and for making water vessels. The afternoon Farm tour was quite good but didn’t cover all the things I had expected. People mixed well here especially in the dining room which was useful for swapping information.

Cons: Based on the excursions mentioned on Booking.com site I arranged to stay here for six days thinking there were four excursions I could do. It was a disappointment to me to find a number of the excursions had a minimum fee of $100 or more based on four people going which as a solo traveller was just too expensive. Others also commented on this and I would say if you do hope to do any of the excursions mentioned you should check the details with the owners before you decide how many days to stay. In the end, in the middle of my stay I went to Moshi to see Mount Kilimanjaro for a couple of days and the office were very helpful about this. They arranged for the motorbike driver that took me to the bus stop to make sure I got on the right bus and paid the right fare ($2.)

Amazing place that needs to be visited.

Pros: The whole idea about the place is great. Amazing hostel, very clean and full of imagination. Special thanks to Meshak for the delicious food. We did a farm tour and waterfall tour with Victor - learned many new things. Nature is soo pretty.

Cons: Everything is hakuna matata. We had an issue but the manager understood the problem on their end. She is trying her best to organise the workload in the farm, but the personnel should be a bit faster in some activities. I still rate it high as the place is worth going to. Check out is quite early and you need to plan well.
