Great, relaxing start to our safari!

Pros: Quiet location outside the centre, beautifully decorated, one of the best breakfasts we had in Tanzania.

Cons: Can be hard to find as the road to the hotel is wobbly

Wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

Pros: The roads to the location were not paved which meant a very bumpy ride, but once there we enjoyed the place.

Cons: Everyone was helpful (staff). Food was delicious and rooms had a historical ambience.

Prefect stay in Arusha

Pros: We have stayed in Arusha many times and were so grateful to find this little gem. We were looking for somewhere quiet, safe and spacious for my five year old to run around and this was just perfect. The staff were so kind and helpful and we really felt at home. The house has been thoughtfully decorated and a short taxi ride to the centre of town. There are tasty hot and cold options for breakfast and an option to order lunch or dinner, which we enjoyed as a special treat one evening. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time I’m in Arusha and if I could take Researcher’s Rest and the wonderful team with me wherever I travelled to in the world, I would!! They really made our stay homely and welcoming.
