Tanzania 🇹🇿

Pros: The room was clean and had a ceiling fan. Hot water was available from the shower. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was very friendly. The pool was nice and clean. Laundry service was available for a small fee. The owners happened to be there at the same time, arranged activities for the day, and were very hospitable. The location was peaceful, yet still within a short distance from the town center.

Pros: Super comfortable, large rooms. The staff were amazing and super helpful. Food was great. Everything about the stay we loved. We felt at home, so much so we stayed again after the mountain. The pool is a great way to relax post Killmanjaro

Lovely staff

Pros: The staff were really great and attentive, the restaurant is actually very good and good value for money. The hotel manager was really helpful with local knowledge, helping us sort onward travel arrangements and laundry.

Cons: The swimming pool could have an upgrade to make the resort even nicer.

We had a lovely stay at the Karanga River Lodge: highly recommended.

Pros: The location was good in relation to visiting other places. The lay-out of rooms, restaurant and pool was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly: they went over and above to see to it that we had a lovely time.

Cons: The shower in the bathroom was not working properly, so we had cold showers most days. The bright white ceiling light in the room felt uncomfortable on the eyes, particularly when trying to read.

Wonderful layover 1 hr from KIA

Pros: Rooms and grounds were, simple comfortable and clean. The area was quiet and staff were welcoming and kind.

Peaceful hotel close to Moshi

Pros: Quiet at night, very nice pool area and friendly staff. Good restaurant and breakfast. Staff was there when needed, but also let us spend time in peace. Possibility to store luggage during Kilimanjaro hike.

Cons: For us no problem, but location is outside Moshi city area and there is nothing interesting outside hotel walls. No A/C, only fan.
