Kilimanjaro Scenic Homestay

Pros: Everything was as we expected. The entire staff was nice and helpful, the whole hotel had a pleasant family atmosphere. The owner Gabriel took care of us and gave us advice on everything we needed.

Pros: The place is very nice and cozy, and the rooms are clean and full of charm. We felt very comfortable! The owner is very friendly and made sure we were okay the whole time. I would 100% recommend it.

Pros: Beautiful homestay with lovely people. Food is also good and Gabriel is very helpful and provides nice tours. Defintely a perfect place to stay in Moshi!

Cons: Massage service was provided by a external company and was very expensive and of poor quality.

Going to Kili

Pros: Located on a quiet area and with a beautiful Garden. The host Gabriel is very kind and available to Help. We arranged the transfer and the city tour with him and it was perfect The room is just like the photos and clean. Good breakfast Thanks for everything!

Perfect Getaway in Moshi.

Pros: Gabriel's place was perfect for my needs. I shared the room with my daughter during the Kili marathon weekend. The meals were perfect, especially the breakfast and ugali and chicken curry for dinner. They were flexible enough to make our breakfast after the marathon and gave us something to eat before the run. The place is quiet and tucked away.

Overall a great stay just outside moshi town

Pros: Lovely outdoor area Amazing food from Lisa! Gabriel organised all our day trips for us, which were great!

Cons: The bedroom was quite warm but there is a ceiling fan. We had an issue with payment as the card machine was broken. There were intermittent power cuts during the stay.

Pros: I had a great stay at the Scenic Lodge. Gabriel and his staff made me feel really welcome and looked after. I highly recommend the place as it is well located, with a beautiful garden and excellent food.

Excellent stay, wonderful hosts

Pros: Gabriel made my stay in Moshi so easy - he and his family were so welcoming, he picked me up from my hotel in Arusha and dropped me at the airport at the end of my stay, and even organized a 1 day guided hike up part of Kilimanjaro for me. The food was good, the hotel is beautiful and nicely situated with a view of Kilimanjaro, and at the end of my stay Gabriel arranged a delivery of coffee for me to take home. I will definitely return the next time I am in Moshi! Thank you Gabriel for a lovely stay.

Cons: There were some issues with the wifi during my stay, but this was with the internet provider and the hosts very quickly contacted the provider to sort this out.

Perfect for a comfortable and secure stay in Moshi in a small and quaint lodge!

Pros: Gabrielle and his team are new into the tourism business. We loved the location, facilities and intimate care that we received during our stay. We had the top room on the tower and we had a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. Gabrielle also booked local tours including coffee experience, trip to the Ewang'ani Maasai Cultural Village (http://www.ewanganimaasaiculturalvillage.com/), hike to waterfalls, Kikuleta Hot Springs, cycling up to the villages from the Lodge to the edge of Kilimanjaro National Park, visit the ancient Chagga Cave, visit to Moshi town and markets as well as being taxi to the airport! If you ask him to book tours, then expect him to be busy!

Cons: The quantity of the food was too much and we would try to order portions for three people even though we were four adults. The wifi had moments when it was off and needed a reboot but once back online it worked fine!

Great views. Great staff. Great place to stay.

Pros: Great views and location. The staff were incredible and the facilities were the best I have seen in Moshi having stayed in two other places. Peaceful and not too many rooms available so it didn't feel overwhelmingly touristy unlike other places too.

Cons: The wifi wasn't very dependable, and would often drop out in my room.
