An incredible place to stay near the Ngorongoro Crater

Pros: We liked everything at the Manor. Altus, the GM has put together an incredible experience for their guest. The staff was incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to please us. Charles, who was our main person there, left us a warm bath ready for when we got back from safari and set up a special private dinner for us. The property, overall, was picturesque; the photos aren't able to show how beautiful this property is. Meals were amazing as well, especially the dinners, which consisted of nightly 5-course tasting menus. There's a great selection of wine, which seems to have been hand-selected by Altus. We also got to ride their horses around the coffee plantation. The safari to the Ngorongoro Crater wasn't the best safari we experienced, but it's a different ecosystem from that experience in other regions of Tanzania.
