Nice place could use a few improvements

Pros: Great staff Cool bar area Amazing cooking Shower worked well most of the time

Cons: Bumpy roads and out of the way No one was there A lot of annoying noises (not from partying, just beeping and work noise)

Great for 1 night to start Safari from

Pros: Easy stay for 1 night before our group safari. Staff was very helpful especially the Masaai who helped us get to our room even though it was 1am and room perfect for one night.

Beautiful space to relax in Arusha

Pros: White House was a lovely space to be based in Arusha. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dorm was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of options.

Incredible hostel for an incredible trip!

Pros: The White House of Tanzania was a wonderful stay - the space is gorgeous and so much relaxation room! Abu and Stella made us feel at home and looked after us the entire time, meeting them was a highlight of our trip for sure. We're excited to come back again and couldn't recommend the place more!

Awesome, suggest to backpackers and solo travellers

Pros: Was a very friendly environment, felt home immediately. There were pool tables and table tennis as well

Cons: Was a bit hard to reach, you need taxi or tuktuk

Really good

Pros: The staff was so nice, we arrived late with a bad looking rental car and a last minute booking, and had lost our way. They were very understanding and showed us different rooms we could choose from. The room is really good for the price. Had a big bed and an extra big bunk bed. They gave us a generous late check out. Had a good laugh with both guys - funny and polite - and they helped us to have some pizza delivered and had a drink at the bar. The bar area is nice and has swings. Breakfast area is good too, food was OK. Nice common area in the mail building. They were also building some new and tribal looking huts. Good looking but close to each other. So main building is fine! If you cannot find the place, please ask at the mall on the mainroad. Sometimes there is no electricity, so no wifi. They have a generator. This is not something they can do more about then they already do. This is just an Arusha area thing.

Cons: Things like: a small bed side lamp that was lacking and some firm more darkening curtains..however, did not have that anywhere on a 3 week Africa trip, so I know it is not so common...The bunk bed had a small cosy light however!!
