Pros: Staff were great and always helpful , comfortable bed

Cons: WiFi,the distance from the main road and no signage on arrival to location, bathroom wasn't great with no hot water.

Pros: Lucy and her team looked out for us and coooked really well. It felt like home

Pros: Beautiful spacious rooms, easy location and very friendly helpful staff

Cons: Noisy at night

Pros: Villa Poa is a beautiful place of stay. I and the family very much enjoyed our stay there with the staff that were very helpful and provided amazing services. We really appreciate them.

A warm welcoming and quiet oasis in the city

Pros: Lucy and Neema were so welcoming, friendly and funny. It really felt like we left as friends. It's located in a nice quiet place, with a lovely garden with all kinds of seating options. And there is a well-stocked fridge with beers and sodas And breakfast was great with fresh fruits and your choice of eggs, veggie sandwhich, pancakes or all! And only a short ride to the city center.

Cons: Wifi speed is slow

The service was excellent.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and even the environment was good. My son liked Sama - the dog very much as he was able to pet him and share his snacks with him too😊

Cons: Sharing of the washrooms wasn't pleasant. Wish you opt to improve on this.

Pros: Absolutely everything! They made me feel like home and that's the most important (and hardest to achieve) in hospitality business. I miss this place already ❤️!

Best. Staff. Ever!

Pros: This place was absolutely incredible. The staff! Oh my gosh they absolutely made this place. They were the kindest, funniest and most helpful people. Massive shout out to my two new Tanzanian sisters Lucy and Neema! My dad and I stayed here after our Kilimanjaro hike and it was the most perfect place to relax in the garden on the day beds and couches. Neema and Lucy went above and beyond organising a haircut for dad, Neema giving us a massage to help our sore muscles after the hike, Lucy taking me to her tailor to help me get some clothes made and Neema coming into town with me to help me choose fabric. The beds were super comfortable and rooms had plenty of space. Food was awesome. Great brekky and the dinner was delicious too. I would stay here 100 times over. Probably my favourite ever place in all the places I’ve ever been. Thank you thank you thank you!

Great and comfortable accommodation with a very friendly staff!

Pros: The staff of Villa Poa was very nice and extremely helpful! When we had a problem with a taxi driver one of the Mamas assisted immediately and the problem was soon solved. The Breakfast was very tasty and freshly prepared. Overall it was a great stay!

Cons: The waterheater had to be switched on before a shower which is a little unpractical but is due to energy saving efforts (so still positive!). And I had to pay in Cash, paying by Card would have been easier.

Amazing

Pros: The view of Mount meru from our balcony was breathtaking😍 Lucy was so friendly and welcoming. The food was a 10. The rates are affordable.
