Kilimanjaro Lodge - MCF

Pros: Breakfast was varied, included fresh fruit and was veggie friendly. Easily walkable during the day to town and to the Jackfruit Cafe. Hot water boiler for the shower was quite small and ran out fairly quickly but it was great to have hot water! It did reheat quite quickly.

Good lodge with a few quirks...

Pros: Lovely lodge, we booked it very last minute as we needed somewhere to stay before catching different flights from Kilimanjaro Airport. We arrived and left in darkness but the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Pool area looked good and the bar/restaurant/reception area was decent. Beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. Staff were very friendly too which always helps. Good wine selection too, I had no idea

Cons: We departed at 06:00 in the morning, it would have been a nice touch to have some coffee or fruit before we left but not a huge deal. They didn't really have an evening food menu as such so they offered to knock up a curry for us, it was very tasty but would have been nice to have a bit of choice. There isn't anything around the lodge so take a good book with you, it's very quiet!

Relaxing and friendly accommodation

Pros: The setting is lovely and peaceful, the swimming pool is great. The staff are very lovely and friendly.

Pros: Staf, location and​ facilities. The​ smile​ of​ Tanzania Your​ services​ are​ over​ my​ expectation. We​ have​ no​ nothing​ to​ complain​ about. FYI.​ All​ money​ you​ spent will​ be​ part to​ local​ sharity by​ MCF​ project

Pros: The accommodation has a great view of Kilimanjaro, the food is really good and the stuff are very kind and helpful. I strongly recommend the place.

Cons: Sun lounger at the pool are very heavy and not easy to use

Pros: this choice was really value for money , the breakfast spread was also really great. it has a very beautifull garden all around and lilovely views of mt. kilimanjaro from their breakfast deck7

A perfect place to recharge before the adventure!

Pros: We spent two days at this hotel to relax after our parks tour and prepare for the Kilimanjaro hike. The hotel is lovely, and the manager was always available to accommodate our needs. Breakfast was great, featuring fresh and delicious food. A perfect place to recharge before the adventure!

Cons: Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed due to maintenance, so we had to dine outside. There were some issues with the electricity, and we experienced problems with hot water in the bathroom. Additionally, the pool was not clean, so we couldn’t enjoy it

Always again - excellent hospitality, cost-benefit-ratio, extreme friendliness snd commitment!

Pros: - Excellent! - Extremely nice and helpful staff! - Great view directly on Kilimanjaro mountain (if not cloudy) - Good breakfast, good restaurant - Felt as a welcomed guest and not as a lemon to squeeze - Thank you so much for everything, we will definitively come again!
