Pros: Privacy, great food, great views, very clean, extremely nice staff.

Cons: May be a bit far, but that is also an advantage.

Wonderful

Pros: We had a great stay at Shamba Lodge. The cabin is just wonderful. The bed is big and comfy, the bathroom is clean and there is hot water. We had dinner there and it was delicious. Breakfast was great, too. Staff was really kind.

Cons: The road there is a bit bumpy and it is a bit far from Arusha, but it’s good if you want to relax.

Pros: The views are nothing short of breathtaking. The staff were very hospitable and friendly, service was top notch and the food was great.

Excellent

Pros: The location is beautiful and the staff are very helpful. Our flight got changed very last minute, but the staff stayed awake passed 11, to ensured that we have a taxi coming at the correct time. Which ended up being 3 in the morning. We also had some noise from a terrible storm which kept us up, but immediately when they heard of this they went to trim the trees, to ensure a good nights rest.

Cons: The geyser can only accommodate one bath, and you can't pick up Wi-Fi from the room (which is not all bad, but difficult if you need to work)

Pros: “A new, small private lodge not far from Arusha Airport, located in a very quiet area. Spacious cottages with small terraces and a lovely view (not of Mount Meru, but still beautiful).”

Cons: There’s no pool yet or shared space to spend time in the evening.
