Comfortable hotel with excellent service

Pros: It’s a very comfortable 3 star hotel, but the service makes it an easy 5 star choice. If you were to book several rooms for a group it would be like having your own villa. We were there during the election in October 2025, and they went out of their way to ensure our comfort and safety, helping us deal with logistics when there was an internet blackout.

Cons: The location is a way out from the Center of Arusha so you need to allow for a ten minute taxi

Beautiful and comfortable hotel, with incredibly helpful and friendly staff

Pros: The staff were incredible, so friendly and helpful! We stayed here before and after a safari on our honeymoon and the staff gave us some fizzy and a lovely cake to celebrate! They held our luggage for us, and cleaned our (very dusty) shoes without being asked (a lovely surprise). The room was so comfortable and had a beautiful balcony with a view of the lovely flowers and weaver birds round the pool. Excellent location, not far from the airport, and wonderful food in the restaurant.

Cons: Nothing, our stay was perfect.

It has good value money. The staff is very helpful and the hotel has everything you need.

Pros: The staff of the hotel was amazing. They make everything easy and pleasant for their guests.

Cons: We visited the property at the end of the high season, but o would still expect the pool to be a bit more maintained. But it is a very small detail.

Great Stay after a Safari

Pros: Perfect spot to relax after a safari trip. The staff is wonderful and accomodating and the food is delicious as well. Can only recommend

Cons: It is a bit further from the city center but close to the airport so depends on what you preferences, we enjoyed hanging out at the pool during our stay. It is quite pricy but worth it.

Warm hearts and a truly memorable stay

Pros: The staff were truly exceptional... some of the kindest and most attentive people we’ve ever met. They went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth and pleasant as possible, always with a smile and genuine care. They even organised a lovely little tour of Arusha for us at a very fair price. The place itself was cosy and authentic, with great rooms, nice food, a peaceful atmosphere, and everything we needed.

Cons: It’s a little bit tucked away, though still in a very safe area and close to the airport.

A beautiful oasis in bustling Arusha.

Pros: I cannot say enough about The Villa Arumeru. This hotel is beautiful and spotless. The staff are thoughtful, the food is delicious & the cost is very reasonable. Ellie and her team are amazing; our stay was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend.
