Pros: Thank you so much Kosmas for a wonderful stay. We felt so welcomed and the room was perfect for our needs. Kosmas was so kind to us, taking us to the hot springs, getting us out of trouble and organising our trip to the waterfalls, we really appreciated his help and it really made our trip special, thank you so much! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the beds were very comfy. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Pros: Perfect hotel for peace and quiet The couple who run the hotel are very kind and welcoming. The hotel is located outside the city center, but this is much better if you want be quiet, away from the noisy center. And you can easily reach the center in 5 minutes by motorcycle or tuktuk. There is a kitchen where you can cook, a place for chill outside, and a full breakfast is always ready when you wake up, which is very nice. I recommend choosing this hotel for your stay in Moshi!

Pros: The hostel and the owner are amazing! It’s quiet at night and the property is clean and comfy. The breakfast was also really good. Cosmos offered us to see his local villages and the forest of moshi. Moshi wouldn’t be that great without this hostel!

An Unforgettable Adventure in Tanzania

Pros: I booked when I see Adventures hostel. And it’s one of the best adventures I can live in Tanzania. Cosmos was the best person I meet in Tanzania. I make me feel confortable, he saw me the best hidden place in Moshi and Arusha. I also booked a Safari with him for a good price and the organisation was perfect! Thank you so much Irene and Cosmos to give me the a real experience of Tanzania.

Pros: Cosmas is an amazing host, offering tours and advice for literally everything. He is the nicest guy and offers a great breakfast. We felt really welcome and would recommend his hostel to anyone.

the place to be

Pros: We had such a nice stay at this accommodation and I would definitely recommend it! The rooms are very cozy, the food is so good and the team is just amazing. The hostel is not directly in the city but it’s a calm and friendly neighbourhood and the drive to the city (about 12min) is cheap and it’s very good to reach. Cosmas (the owner) is such a kind and heartwarming person and tried everything to make sure we felt comfortable and like home. He was like our personal tour guide and showed us everything - villages, local food, the city, beautiful nature places and organised some trips like a Safari. Truly the best hostel experience I’ve ever had, this is so much more than just a place where you sleep. It felt like home and is an experience we will never forget, thank you Rafiki! If you want to really have a local experience in Tanzania - local food, the culture and people, beautiful nature, the language - this is the place to be!

The Best

Pros: This place is magical Cosmas and his family are wonderfully wonderful and kind-hearted people . A beautiful friendship was born that is why I decided to return a second face after the Safari , Cosmas is a Wikipedia know it all , he is from a tribe in that area and it was interesting to be with him around because he showed me so many things . This accommodation is home and family , if you are looking for that I recommend you go to them .

Pros: Staying at Janibichi Hostel was truly an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was at home. Cosmas and the whole team are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always makes sure that every guest feels comfortable and cared for. Cosmas has such a pure and kind heart, and his energy really sets the tone for the whole place. The hostel itself has a great vibe—clean, cozy, and full of warmth. The breakfast was a real highlight: big, delicious, and prepared with love. Cosmas also shares wonderful stories and gives great advice about the area, which makes the experience even richer. I couldn’t recommend this place enough—it’s not just a hostel, it’s a home away from home. I've found new friends in that place and will forever stay in my heart. I'll be back !

Pros: My stay here has completely shaped my experience in Tanzania, it has been brilliant. From the day I arrived the host Cosmos showed me so much, from local hikes to really good food places. I can’t recommend this hostel enough it is more like a home and Cosmos a good friend.
