A Home from home

Pros: What a find! Randomly booked this on a whim and 10 mins later I found myself at Backyard. The staff Ny, Yasmin and Olivia became family after only a few days. Backyard super chill / good vibes only sort of place - perfect for a solo traveler like myself on a bit of a budget or couples looking to relax in peace or even for families to come chill - everything just relaxed and easy going. Super close to Kilimanjaro and Waterfall’s etc so loads to do there too!

Cons: Nothing tbh - no problems, issues whatsoever. Rooms clean, hot water , beds comfy

It was a pleasant stay with all what we needed.

Pros: Great atmosphere and really nice common areas. The breakfast is good, and the room had everything we needed. Just keep in mind to bring cash in USD — paying by card or in euros ends up being more expensive.

Pros: It was a short but really nice stay, the place has a great vibe and the host is super kind :)

Pros: Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The common area was very comfortable with sofas and very good vibe, they offer cold beer, home cooked dinners and good coffee. There was also a tap with filtrated water which was super useful so we didn't have to buy water in plastic all the time. I wished we could have stayed longer

Pros: We loved the vibe and staff. Very friendly and great cooks. A unique stays with alot of effort into decor and atmosphere. We loved our bungalow and the outdoor shower. Highly recommend.

Great place

Pros: The decord was beautiful, the staff was friendly, the place was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good. Easy walk to the center of town. Some groceries and stores near the place.

Cons: The shower water was only luke warm, only vegetarian meals.

Pros: This hostel has such a great atmosphere. There are plants and trees everywhere, which makes it a wonderful place to relax. At the same time, it’s very close to everything and the people are super friendly.
