Maasai Eco Boma & Lodge - Experience Maasai Culture

Beautifully presented. Very professional. Great value and can’t recommend highly enough

Pros: Immersive experience. Naturally they are in the tourism business but do it very well. The village is attached but distinct, allowing the community distance from the razzamatazz. Few enough guests that you feel a part of the community rather than vice versa. We were entertained non stop all evening and all morning, whilst feeling included and welcome. It was school holidays so the school was empty but nonetheless a very impressive enterprise. There are opportunities to donate more but they aren’t heavily pushed. The cultural guides are very knowledgeable and personable. Three miles down a dirt track so suitably remote. Food was excellent. I can’t speak highly enough of the stay. Convenient location for tarangire and manyara. Fit it into your safari itinerary. Better to stay somewhere that helps the community and the educational entertainment makes it well worth the spend.

Fantastic experience

Pros: To stay at Maasai eco boma is a once in a lifetime experience. It allows you to really learn abour maasai culture and also contribute to the school that they run with the proceeds of the hotel. The staff are so welcoming. The food is thoughtfully prepared and very tasty. We loved walking with the maasai around their village. We would 100% recommend to stay.

Pros: Absolutely everything! The experience, the staff, who became friends, the service was amazing, the rooms, the food, the welcome, the cultural experience, we were so sad to leave!

Culture with luxury.

Pros: Great welcome with the maasai dancing, shown to our rooms which were very clean and tidy. The story telling and food were amazing. We really enjoyed the tour of the village & school, but the highlight was the early morning sunrise while on the warrior walk.
