Pros: Great place to stay in a local community! Everything is still very authentic. The rooms and the whole area are clean, and in the evening there’s even a bonfire. The host and all the staff are very friendly and always helpful. You can book different tours, take a walk through the village, visit a kindergarten, or join a city tour. Meals are cooked at the bar, and you can even watch while they cook. A wonderful place to relax and to learn Suaheli 😀

I can't recommend this enough...
Pros: The 2 brothers in charge are just fantastic! Super friendly and chatty, they'll prepare your breakfast/dinner whatever time you need it and it was delicious. The room and bathroom was very basic but we loved how authentic it was, we slept very well too. I would definitely come back again, it was great!!!

Excellent value for money!
Pros: The host was wonderful, very nice and friendly. He made medicine for our daughter when she had stomach problems after traveling. Papaya, mango and bananas grow in the garden. You can also feed the bunnies. It was safe, simple and friendly.

Pros: Meleji was like home! The place is a little oasi were have chill time. with the guys was so nice spending time and chatting. They help us renting a car and for other issue. Kelvin is so helpfull and a great story teller :) Also the food was very good! There is a bar and a nice garden were rest from the city and The apartment is very cozy and well equiped. Fell like a family in meleji! Hasante

Werden den Aufenthalt sehr positiv in Erinnerung behalten und kommen gerne wieder
Pros: Sehr schönes Hostel mit unschlagbarem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Zimmer ist groß, im Allgemeinen recht sauber und verfügt über alles Nötige. Falls etwas fehlt, sind die Gastgeber sehr bemüht, es zu ermöglichen. Frühstück war einfach, jedoch lecker und nach Absprache auch früh morgens möglich. Die Gastgeber bieten auch Aktivitäten an, der Kochkurs ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, engagiert, und haben sogar eine eigene kleine Daycare für Kinder aus der Nachbarschaft eröffnet. Die Lage ist zwar nicht im Zentrum, jedoch ist das Zentrum mit den örtlichen Transportmitteln (Daladala, Tuktuk, Pikipiki) sehr gut erreichbar. Die Gegend wirkt sicher, die Menschen begrüßen einen immer freundlich.
Cons: Gelegentliche Stromausfälle (generell üblich in der Region), die auch aufgrund der engagierten Gastgeber meist jedoch nur wenige Minuten andauerten.

Lugar agradable, muy bien de precio, anfitriones muy agradables.
Pros: Muy buen cocinero, la cena fue estupenda. Está algo alejado de Arusha centro pero es lo que buscábamos para una noche, un lugar tranquilo.
Cons: ahora mismo, no se me ocurre nada de importancia

Perfect!
Pros: La gente que gestionaba el alojamiento fue muy amable! nos recomendaron lugares donde ir, nos esperaron con una fogata y cervezas! Disfrutamos mucho de hablar acerca de su país, su historia y también la ayuda social que brindan a la comunidad local con su day care para los niños vecinos. Ofreciéndonos también participar. Esperamos que les vaya muy bien y su proyecto siga adelante! Recomiendo mucho poder visitarlos y cooperar con su escuela! Muchas gracias por los buenos momentos y el desayuno delicioso. No se lo pierdan, es un gran lugar :)
Cons: Nada, todo fue perfecto! Es difícil para el tuktuk poder hacer la calle que te lleva al hostel pero ellos nos contactaron antes y avisaron para poder guiar al chofer hasta la puerta. De todas formas, hemos hecho esa calle caminando y no es para nada grave, solo a tener en cuenta si tenes maletas o llegas de noche.
