Africa Safari Maasai Boma

Good option for overnight en route to or from Lake Natron.

Pros: This is near Klein's Gate. As such its high season would be July August, with the crossing of the Mara River by the Great Migration herds. In February this part of the Serengeti is very quiet. Few animals here yet. We had one night here. Very expensive compared to other Africa Safari camps we stayed in but excellent food, bed, and staff were warm and friendly.

Cons: Price for the time of year....

Out of this world! What an experience to endure

Pros: Fantastic experience sleeping a Boma but with all modern facilities. The views are breathtaking. Endeavour to catch the sunrise and sunset it's out of this world. Truly a magical experience. Staff were top notch couldn't fault them. At night you had security escort you to your rooms for extra safety! Will definitely return

Cons: Would have been nice if they had buffet meals . They had set meals and that was a bit of a problem but above all everything was spot on. Thank you Masai Boma for an amazing experience 🙂

Pros: Great breakfast for the location. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed the beds and the room decoration a lot. Also, the landscape is very beautiful and is a great place to rest after a safari in Serengeti.

Beautiful lodge, highly recommend

Pros: The staff are absolutely beautiful. They are so kind and accommodating. The rooms are beautiful and the food was delicious. The location is also great. Not far from the gate. We also had giraffes right outside our room!

Cons: The only thing that could be improved is the hot water. The water is not really hot and doesn't last long. When you are tired and dusty from a long day, it's nice to be able to have a hot shower. Particularly as it gets quite cold at night.

Nice Economical Option for Northern Serengeti

Pros: Enjoyed the family size Boma! Nice view over the valley! Very unique accommodation! Staff were very friendly, kind and helpful! Pool was refreshing!

Cons: Needed a bit better signage at the gate once you have left the main road!

Parfait endroit pour séjourner en sortant du Serengeti par Kleins Gate

Pros: - La nourriture était excellente - le staff très sympathique - proche de Kleins gate, parfait en sortant du Serengeti - les explications le soir concernant les danses traditionnelles Maasaï - service de lessive express (mais nous avons du la faire sécher au soleil le lendemain matin).

Cons: - la route pour y accéder (nous étions en Self-driving) - la première impression en arrivant n’était pas très chaleureuse - le staff est très gentil mais ne parle pas bien l’anglais.

Tolle Unterkunft mit Besuch von Zebras und Giraffen

Pros: Die Boma sind super ausgestattet, haben warmes Wasser und einen tollen Pool! Die Lage neben mir Blick in Richtung Kenia ist auch ausgezeichnet. Wir haben auch die Aufmerksamkeit des Hotels genossen, welche uns einen besonderen Abend aufgrund unserer Hochzeitsreise ermöglicht haben. Das Essen war sehr gut am Abend und abwechslungsreich. Am Abend schauten auch Giraffen und Zebras vorbei.

Cons: Einzig die Zufahrt zum Hotel ist etwas abenteuerlich und das Frühstück haben wir in anderen Unterkünften in Tansania schon besser erlebt.

Fijne plek met super uitzicht en mooie authentieke sfeer.

Pros: Ideale spot om een een dag richting Serengeti te gaan. De hut was van alle gemakken voorzien, en de douche was heerlijk!

Cons: Het enige minpuntje was dat er geen keuze was qua gerechten in het restaurant.

A fascinating Maasai resort with modern amenities and great service

Pros: This is a fascinating place! Built on Maasai land next to a real Maasai village, this resort consist of spacious bungalows in traditional style with all modern amenities inside. Most of the staff are Maasai from the village and they performed a special dance for us one evening. The panoramic views are amazing. There is a small pool that we really enjoyed. The restaurant served fantastic food and interesting cocktails with a local twist. Our server, Mr. Daniel, provided a level of service worthy of a five-star dining experience in Paris.

Tolle Lodge am nördlichen Rand der Serengeti mit außergewöhnlich tollem Personal!

Pros: Die Lage der Lodge ist sehr schön mit einer tollen Aussicht auch aus den einzelnen Bungalows heraus. Das Personal war ausnehmend freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Der Pool ist sauber und gepflegt und das Essen hervorragend!

Cons: Die Zufahrt ist - wie bei vielen anderen Lodges in Tansania auch - ein wenig abenteuerlich...
