African Sunrise Lodge and Campsite

Pros: we was the only guests during our stay and the staff was soooo nice! Thanks to Clara and the girl at the restaurant! The room was simple but perfect for our stay.

Cons: the wifi and electricity was quite hard to have but we are in the middle of nowhere so it's normal :) The staff always try to help for that and we managed to have connexion and electricity to charged our phone.

Nice place away from the Safari crowds

Pros: Its perfectly positioned on the edge of Rift Valley with spectacular views. We stayed there for 2 nights to visit Tarangire National Park. It was a beautiful experience. Don’t expect any luxuries, but what you get is nice and friendly.

Cons: You definitely need a car made for rough roads. With a 4x4 no problem.

Very Nice Place !

Pros: Our stay at the African Sunrise Lodge was very nice. The view is fantastic! The cuisine is excellent and the staff is super friendly. We felt very comfortable.

Wonderful hospitality and views

Pros: Delicious meals and lovely staff, peaceful location with glorious views over the rift valley and lake Manyara.

Cons: Low water pressure in the shower - however not a problem, especially since there is water scarcity in the area. The run up from the main roads takes 20 mins, going through villages and farms, so you need a robust vehicle to get here.

Pros: We received a wonderful warm welcome from everyone who works at the African Sunrise Lodge. Everyone went out of their way to look after us. The location is beautiful and sunrise was spectacular.

Highly recommend for the views alone!! Majestic view of Ngorongoro crater

Pros: Absolutely everything The staff were so welcoming and helpful .. Abigail, Elizabeth and Nora just super Food was delicious Accommodation was really comfortable with spectacular views

Cons: The road up to it requires a 4x4 and is not for the faint hearted!! WiFi isn’t he best but you are in nature so it’s understandable and I still would return!!

Authentieke ervaring en prachtig uitzicht!

Pros: Als je op je veranda zit en je kijkt uit over de vallei dan lijkt de wereld even stil te staan. Je kunt je hier voorstellen dat Tanzania zo moet zijn geweest voordat het massatoerisme Tanzania had gevonden. Er is een restaurant met eveneens een prachtig uitzicht en je kunt een biertje drinken in de bar. Het complex ligt wel een stukje rijden van de doorgaande weg. Op de terugweg hebben ze ons met hun eigen jeep afgezet bij de dichtstbijzijnde stopplaats van de dala dala naar Arusha.

Pros: Clara perfetta e disponibile. Stanze pulite , cibo ottimo. E un alba memorabile. Se ritorno in Tanzania, ritorno anche da loro.

Een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Pros: Een rustieke, authentieke, afgelegen lodge met een prachtig uitzicht op de vallei en Manyara Lake. De weg naar de lodge is ruig tussen de velden en akkers van de plaatselijke locals. De kamers zijn basic, maar prima prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Het personeel was super lief en behulpzaam. De eigenaar heeft ons heel erg geholpen en een aardige man.

Cons: Niets

Pros: Accueil, confort, vue exceptionnelle. Repas très bon. Rien à dire. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et une très bonne nuit. Endroit magnifique et vue à couper le souffle. Tout était parfait.
