Excellent stay, great location and rooms - very poor check in and check out staff.
Pros: Amazing location amid pristine coffee plantation and gardens and located on the lake. Did canoeing with my family in the morning after a leisurely breakfast on the open patio which overlooks the lake. Excellent overnight stay.
Cons: I had booked two double rooms through booking.com and the person at check out created an unusual and unwelcome rucus stating that the rooms were for 2 people not 4 - had to spend 30 mins on this needless argument and showing him on the booking.com website. Added a bad taste to an otherwise great stay.

Pros: The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, offering a range of standard options like eggs, toast, and pastries. While it lacked a touch of creativity or local flair, it was convenient and filling. The buffet included a selection of fruit juices, coffee, and tea. I appreciated the option to request a specialty coffee drink, and the staff kindly accommodated my request for a cappuccino – which arrived as a generous double shot. Overall, a solid breakfast offering, even if it didn't exceed expectations.\
Cons: A continental breakfast spread with a variety of meats, cheeses, and breads would have been a wonderful addition. Additionally, serving fresh juices instead of packaged options would have elevated the breakfast experience. Overall, a solid breakfast offering, but with a bit of room for improvement to take it to the next level.

This is a great place for relaxation and a place to get-away-from the grind of life.
Pros: The property is a great place to rest and relax - especially if you're going out to a game drive. The grounds were beautifully maintained.
Cons: Outside of this being a paradise property, there isn't much to do. They do have a nature trail that is outlined around the perimeter of the property. They also provide spa sessions for additional fee. You can schedule game drive tours and other local tours from the front desk.

Beautiful hotel for an enjoyable short stay outside of Arusha
Pros: Beautiful colonial-style hotel in a wonderful estate full of trees, plants and flowers, with delicious breakfast and lunch/dinner, excellent massage services, ideal for a couple of days to recover from the Kilimanjaro hike. We really enjoyed the jogging track.
Cons: It could use some sort of refurbishing/renovation. The activities on/around the lake are rather pricey.

Very good hotel with a wonderful garden
Pros: The hotel is very peaceful, green, and comfortable. The bedrooms are big, very comfortable, and extremely clean. The food in the restaurant is really nice, and all the staff is very professional but friendly. Every time we asked for assistance, they have been quick to react and extremely helpful. And the garden (and vegetable patch!) is simply beautiful. So, great hotel with the even better staff!
Cons: The only thing that could have been better is to have a choice between a menu meal and a la carte. Sometimes a full menu is just too much food, and to have access to a snack in between meals can be good

Beautiful place to start a safari
Pros: The grounds were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was always great to interact with. Liked the lounge area and the outdoor patio and lawn area overlooking the lake.
Cons: The food was good but not much variety.
