Exceptional hospitality!

Pros: I stayed in KIA lodge the evening before my flight back to the UK after a month in Tanzania. KIA lodge was the perfect place to relax and reflect on my travels. I had read some reviews which complained about cleanliness / shower temperature, but I certainly didn't notice any issues with cleanliness or the showers. I found both my room and the grounds to be well-kept and clean. The staff were so helpful! There were so many options for breakfast and it was delicious. Prices for food was reasonable.

Excellent short stay in Kia.

Pros: It's location which is close to the airport. You get a much needed night's rest after a very long flight to Kilimanjaro. The scenery is breathtaking and the food was very good

Cons: The stay was too short.

Pros: very beautiful and clean. Nice views from the pool. Very attentive and nice staff.

Cons: Some hair in food. Shower head in a weird angle.

Perfect location for comfortable overnight stay at airport

Pros: Location on the airport premises is perfect for early morning flights or late arrivals. The bar, lounge and swimming pool is located in beautiful garden. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Cons: The aircon in the room was noisy. Water pressure of the shower was low.

Good option when you have an early morning flight

Pros: Great location, only a few minutes from the airport. Lovely grounds with a great view of Kilimanjaro. Dinner was a la Carte and good value. Room was comfortable.

Very good option if you need to stay close to the airport.

Pros: We stayed before taking our flight to Paris. Very close to the airport they offer a free shuttle ride of 10mn.

Good place to stay before an early morning flight from JRO

Pros: Considering it is next to the airport, it is very quiet as very few planes takeoff. Transfer to airport early in the morning was seamless

Cons: Sort of dismissive attitude when we checked in as they tried and failed to fine our payment from Booking.com - once that was sorted the switched into “customer service mode” and couldn’t have been more friendly have helpful. The bungalows are large and bed was great, but let down by some little finishing touches (things broken or not fitting quiet right)

Great stay with amazing staff

Pros: Very close to the airport perfect for an early flight in the morning. Accommodation felt very private even though there were many other huts around you. Breakfast in the morning was great with attentive and kind staff.

Great spot to land after a long flight - extend your stay to enjoy the pool and view!

Pros: Lovely property, pool and view of Kilimajaro! Convenient due to its super close proximity to the airport and a perfectly organized, free shuttle in the middle of the night. Just contact the property first to book it in time!

Cons: All great, nothing to complain about really! A bit expensive and far from Arusha but conveniently close to the airport and therefore worth it!

Pros: Great lodge near Kilimanjaro airport. Best place to spot air planes fans. Nice and clean rooms with bathroom. Nice pool with towels. Helpfully staff.
