Excellent value and family friendliness, highly recommended
Pros: The family were very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was warm and inviting making us feel at home. Our possessions were secure and the home is very central to moshi town. Shared lounge, watching some news and football was welcome and the breakfast was made with care and love.. try the chai marsala. Highly recommended and would return if visiting again

Nice homestay within a convenient location
Pros: I had a wonderful time at Faraja Homestay in Moshi town, I especially enjoyed the convenient location of the homestay as it was walking distance to the bus stop and within the town centre. The host's warm welcome and delicious recipes, especially banana bread, chapati, chicken and pineapple coconut sauce made our stay all the more enjoyable. She was also helpful in giving us information about Moshi and places to visit while there including guiding us on transport options. The rooms were standard but spacious ( stayed in a twin bedroom ) clean and comfortable with the necessary amenities (towels, linen, WiFi and toiletries). Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
Cons: The homestay's location is within the town centre, hence, there was the occasional noise from vehicles and business activities that were close by, but for me, the convenience of the location outweighed the occasional distraction.

Nice stay, very recommendable.
Pros: This is a homestay as it should be. We were hosted by the family who was very helpful and showed us the way to where we needed to go. Mrs. Faraja also gave us lots of tips on Tanzanian food and drinks - she prepared the best chapati and ginger tea we have ever had. A great breakfast! We felt very comfortable there and this host family is recommendable.
Cons: The only issue we had there was a bit of noise coming from the rush street nearby, but the address is near the city centre, so it is a price you pay for a good location.

Central location
Pros: The property is centrally located. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent.
Cons: A busy street is right under your window, with big buses and noisy motorcycles. Bring earplugs if you plan to sleep.

Home from home, great hosts! Fantastic location.
Pros: Very homely, the owners were so lovely. Felt very much a home from home. Room good size clean and comfortable.
Cons: Pressure in the shower could be improved. But this is a minor criticism and more a room for improvement.

Sweet homestay in Moshi
Pros: The hosts were wonderful and our room large and clean; there was also a small courtyard and the locaton was good for experienced the town and local lifestyle. We wanted to experience staying with locals. Unfortunatly I became ill during the trip and was pretty sick during the 2 days we stahyed so didn't get as much as I intended. Breakfast was nice and they made me ginger tea to help with illness.
Cons: This isnt about not liking, the Booking calls it luxurious, just know its shared bath (which was very clean) is down the hall and there is no A/C. A fan is in the room and there is a fair amount of street noise during the night.

Great place to stay
Pros: The place is very warm and the staff is very kind and pleasant. Really nice and authentic place to stay.
Cons: Could have been more hot water, but it was too hot in the day so washing in cold water wasn't bad idea :)
