Charming Eco-Homestay near Kilimanjaro International Airport

Great food and amazing host

Pros: Food was amazing (best food in Tanzania so far after 2 weeks), friendly people and nice room.

Cons: Wifi didn't work

Pros: Warm welcoming arranged by Teresa and the whole staff. Close to airport they have arranged shuttle service. Large room suitable for family too, hot shower.

Pros: Everything! Charming is the correct description for this Eco Homestay. Everything is clean, meals are delicious, excellent staff, camping area is a huge well groomed lawn with high fence, locked gate and security on site. The photos are true to how the homestay is, special thank you to Teresa and Susan. Just the best.

Pros: Well named. It was so “charming”. A beautiful garden oasis. Rooms were simple, creatively put together, clean and comfortable. Theresa and her family were lovely to deal with, always very accommodating. We were only there for 1 night but the dinner we ate there was the best meal we had throughout our 2 week stay in Kenya and Tanzania!

Good value for money

Pros: Good choice after flight. The owner was really helpful and he picked us up during night from the airport and dropped us 6am to the bus station in the morning. Good breakfast!

Amazing hosts in a beautiful location

Pros: Beautiful gardens and outdoor area in a space well away from the main streets, rooms were spacious and built with an authentic villa feel to them, but best of all was the staff who were lovely and thoughtful and made the most delicious food

Pros: The owners are extremely kind and helpful people, they go above and beyond to make guests comfortable and offer the best experience. Dinner was delicious and the property is in a beautiful location. The rooms are cosy and clean.

Pros: Theresa is super friendly and hospitable. We stayed in a beautiful family accommodation. You can enjoy delicious local food in the area.

Pros: Everything was very nice . We have wonderful memories of our stay and the hosts. Teresa was especially kind and caring, always attentive when it came to preparing meals. She even brought food to our room because we had a small baby, which was incredibly thoughtful. When it was time for us to check out and move to another place, Nelson kindly offered to help us with the transfer. We truly appreciated their hospitality and warm hearts.

Super kind staff and a beautiful room in a beautiful environment

Pros: Beautiful accommadation in a nice environment and not far from the main street. The room is clean and we had hot water all the time. The bed was comfortable. There was enough space in the room. The staff is very kind and reachable if you have questions or wishes. We could have breakfast even after the normal breakfast times, so we could sleep longer.

Cons: Sockets to charge the phone are very rare. Early in the morning there were dogs barking on the outside. There is a mosque and a church nereby which make noise in the morning.
