Pros: The hostel has very good outdoor seating and a nice fireplace for evenings. Datto is very responsive via WhatsApp and you can easily book tours with him.

Cons: We booked a one day tour to the national park Lake Manyara with a canoe trip. Although we enjoyed the day, we found the price to be a bit expensive for the experience you get.

Nice hostel near lake Manyara national park.

Pros: We had two perfect days in this location and did some breathtaking safaris with them. Everything was perfectly organized and the food was also great! Thanks to my new friend datto for having us :)

Pros: The staff was amazing! Super gentle and helpful (helped us in many tasks including in solving issues with our car)... Food is simple and amazing Small and cozy place near the entrance of the national park

Local experience and a family atmosphere

Pros: This hostel was one of the best I stayed in during my three weeks in Tanzania. The hostel owner Datto and the staff like Dayanah are the most welcoming people. I felt like home and we became friends. The hostel is located on the outskirts of the village. Next to Lake Manyara. It's super quiet and you have a relaxing atmosphere there. Monkey all around the house :) The room was big and everything you needed. This hostel is also perfect to visit some tribes or do safari. Just ask Datto and he will organize everything. At the tribes it was only the guide and me that makes it super personal and you get all out from it. It doesn't matter at which time I had to wake up, breakfast was always prepared for me. Even at 5am. Thanks to Dayanah and Datto. You are amazing. I really can recommend staying there.

Cons: A mirror was missing in my room..but the owner already bought one and now nothing to claim :)

Nice tiny oasis

Pros: Staff was amazing, the two women Diana and her sister were incredible. The homemade food from them was really good. Overall nice little oasis 10 min by foot outside of Mto Wa Mbu. Fireplace outside was cosy.

Cons: Shared bathroom is behind the main building outside

Pros: The place is very nice and comfortable, you will feel at home very quickly. And the host is very friendly and helpful.

Pros: It's simple but comfortable. The breakfast was nice.

Cons: The price on booking it's different than the one you will be asked to pay. The sailing would need a change, since it was all broken and leaking.

Pros: Wir waren dort für eine Nacht. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich schlicht, aber hatte alles für eine Nacht. Es ist das letzte Hotel an der Hauptstrasse, vor dem Lake Manyara Gate. Wir fanden es genial, da wir grosse Pavianen Clans vor der Haustüre beobachten konnten. Sie waren ca. 20 und haben die Hauptstrasse überquert.

Pros: L'accueil est très appréciable, les activités proposées par les gérants sont adaptées à tous les budgets, les repas maison copieux et savoureux, petit déjeuner complet.
