Top choice for the Great Migration in February

Pros: In hindsight we would have chosen an ensuite tent, being a bit on the older side... The twin single bed option was okay but it's alway nice to have a toilet and shower of your own. The location of this camp however was superb for game viewing as the Great Migration is passing through the South Serengeti in February. The staff here were delightful and the meals were excellent especially in view of the remote location.

Cons: See above

Great location in Ndutu

Pros: The location is convenient for Ndutu game drives and the area in immediate vicinity has lots of wildlife too. We saw an elephant, giraffes, antelopes. Zebras come directly to the Lodge. The food was hit/miss. We had 2 dinners there and one was great, there other one not so much. One day lunch box was just cooked potatoes with sauce and some crackers, juice. The tents are good with comfy beds and duvets for cold nights. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the staff

Cons: First night we got a tent next to the shared washrooms and my head was literally 6ft away from the tent with the toilet so we got woken up constantly. The sleeping tents died not be that close to the washroom facilities. We were moved further down next day and that was great. The shared facilities are missing a sink so you have nowhere to wash hands or brush teeth.

As you hope a safari camp to be when you plan your deeam.

Pros: Offseason and upgraded thank you. Quintessential safari camp experience. Food and service were excellent. Rains were late so we were too early for migration but our decision was to still come and we will come back again for calving one year.

Cons: I find early check in fees irritating . We therefore went for a couple of hour safari first rather than dropping our bags off and buying lunch. It’s a bit further out than some of the other (more expensive) camps

Good stop in Ngorongoro.

Pros: Upgraded to a comfort tent with attached bathroom.

Cons: Dusty surfaces which we cleaned ourselves.

A beautiful grove.

Pros: It was one of the best camps we have visited on our journey. We liked the vibe and the location. The camp is situated in a beautiful grove. We booked a small tent unintentionally but were upgraded without charge. Thank you!

Cons: There are no vegetation options at dinner.

Glamping at its finest.

Pros: We received a complimentary upgrade to a tent with bathroom which was a total game changer. Felt very luxurious. Very friendly and attentive staff. Super peaceful and wild feel.

Cons: Nothing.

Africa Safari South Serengeti Ndutu offers exceptional value in an unparalleled environment!

Pros: We LOVED staying here!! Our favorite place to call home after a couple months exploring East Africa. The rooms were huge, comfortable, clean, and well-decorated. The food was fabulous (tam sana 😃). The location was perfect! Most of all, the staff was phenomenal. From the minute we drove up, Thomas and the team had us laughing over a welcome beverage. The service was exquisite—even offering us tips for our self-drive safari—and we simultaneously felt like the staff were our friends who we looked forward to seeing at the end of each day. The camp had a buzzing vibe, and we befriended many wonderful guests. This place got all the little details right for a top-quality experience mixed with the cozy feeling of being at home amongst friends. We already miss everyone. Thank you for an exceptional three days!
