Pros: The lodge was clean, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing major to complain about. Everything was generally good during my stay.

Pros: The rooms are quite well designed and the beds were comfortable. Rahab the manager was very helpful and kind. The place was quiet and had good WiFi. I enjoyed relaxing outside the room in the evenings. The bathroom windows were amazing.

Pros: very nice boutique hotel with good environment, ambiance and very comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff is friendly and keen to offer extra support.

Cons: The road to the place is rough and not well maintained .. create a challenge when driving through. Room 3 has the best internet

Super comfortable and affordable stay

Pros: The staff were really helpful and friendly. The bed was really comfortable. The room was also big and spacious and each room had a little terrace with chairs to sit outside. The staff was super helpful and when asked were able to call a motorbike or tuktuk for us. The property is a walkable distance away from the Njiro Complex with basic amenities. And I felt safe walking around the area on my own. They also offer meals as long as you let them know. We had the breakfast two of the 5 nights we stayed. It’s basic but filling. I really liked the freshly pressed juices and fresh avocados!

Cons: Even though booking.com said I got a genius discount the property charged the full price. As this was only 5€ more I didn’t bother to argue with them. What I noticed is a cultural norm that each property has a gate and a night time there is a security guard and you need to get the taxi driver to honk the horn or bang on the gate to get it. One of the nights it took a bit of extra banging on the gate and time before we got let into the property. However, the staff is absolutely wonderful and we in the end got in.

Beautiful paradise in Arusha

Pros: Enjoyed our stay,we loved how clean the rooms were when we arrived,the friendly service of the staff Rahab, Daniel and Frank.I most especially enjoyed the bathroom and was inspired to make one just like that one at home😁so beautiful felt like I was in the rainforest.Rahab made us a lovely meal of pilau.I will definitely be back ❤️❤️❤️.The lodge is in a quiet neighborhood close to a shopping centre.

Cons: The road to the lodge is a bit of a rough drive but manageable since it's a short distance from the main road about 700 meters.

Friendly staff, great value for money, looking forward to staying here when I return to Arusha.

Pros: The staff at this boutique hotel are wonderful. Within minutes of my arrival I was on a first name basis with everyone. Rahab did a great job ensuring that I had a pleasant stay. Everyone working at the Birds of Paradise was committed to ensuring that their guests were comfortable and have enjoyable stays. The property and rooms are very well kept. There are lots of plants and this creates a very peaceful and restful atmosphere. The property is a short walk from Njiro road and the Njiro Complex. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with a nice mix of people. There were no problems with Wifi and delicious home-cooked meals are available by request.

Paradies in the middle of busy Arusha, I love the quietness

Pros: very clean, comfortable and quiet place. The staff Rahab, Daniel and Octavian were so nice and helpful!

Pros: in every way this small out of the way, hotel is simple, but elegant. Very relaxed vibe. Great People. No Hurry. construction of the new rooms is underway., I was allowed to use that future rooftop dining area to film and view all the birds. The Hotel has a very nice bird list which I am helping develop. From the Bulbul to the beautiful Variable Sunbird, and the large tortoise, all the vibes are calm and friendly. For any trip to Tanzania, this may be the perfect small venue where you should consider beginning your journey.

Cons: En realidad es un hotel pequeño.

Pros: Waren 2 Nächte in der Unterkunft nach unserer Safari, haben uns selten so über ein Bett gefreut. Die Unterkunft war wirklich ausgesprochen sauber und gemütlich, das Badezimmer sehr schön und vor allem die kleine Terasse richtig perfekt, um abends zusammenzusitzen. Das Personal war auch extrem hilfsbereit und half bei allen Anliegen. Im Garten gibt es auch 2 Schildkröten :)

Cons: Uns hat sie Lage für die 2 Nächte gut gepasst, da man zu Fuß einige Lokale in der Nähe hat und es schön ruhig ist, aber man braucht schon eine Weile, um in die Innenstadt zu kommen.
